Creamed Onions

    Ingredients

    2 large onions, sliced
    1 can evaporated milk
    3/4 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 cup Cheddar croutons
    Butter

    Directions

    Brown onions in butter until golden.  Pour into
    greased casserole and add soup, diluted with
    evaporated milk.  Mix and sprinkle with grated
    cheese.  Top with croutons and small chunks
    butter.  Bake 1 hour at 300.
