Bourbon Baked Beans

    Ingredients

    5 slices bacon
    2 onions, diced
    8 - 16 oz. cans pork and beans, drained
    1 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cup catsup
    3/4 cup bourbon
    1/2 cup molasses
    2 Tbsp. dry mustard
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

    Directions

    Preheat oven to 375.
    In large Dutch oven, cook bacon, but not crisp.  
    Blot on paper towels and set aside.  Add onions
    to drippings and saute until translucent.  Add
    remaining ingredients and bring to simmer,
    stirring to combine.  Pour into 4 quart casserole
    and top with bacon.  Bake uncovered, 2 to 2 1/2
    hours.
