    Winter Fruit Jello Salad

    Ingredients

    1 - 8 serving size box lemon jello
    1 1/2 cups boiling water
    12 oz. lemon-lime carbonated beverage, chilled
    ice cubes
    3 cups diced and sliced fruit (bananas, apples,
    pears, grapes, oranges)

    Directions

    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.  Combine
    beverage and ice cubes to make 2 1/2 cups.  Add
    to gelatin, stirring until slightly thickened.  Remove
    any unmelted ice.  Chill until thickened, about 10
    minutes.  Fold in fruits.  Pour into serving bowl.  
    Chill until set, about 3 hour.  Garnish with whipped
    topping.
    Serves 12.
