Cooked French Dressing

    Ingredients

    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 cup lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. corn oil
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 egg yolks

    Directions

    Mix cornstarch with lemon juice in saucepan; add
    3/4 cup water.  Cook over low heat, stirring
    constantly, until smooth and slightly thickened.  
    Beat in oil and Worcestershire sauce.  Beat egg
    yolks; beat hot mixture gradually into egg yolks.
    Chill; store in refrigerator.
    Shake well before serving.
    Makes 1 1/2 cups.
