Olive Garden Salad Dressing

    Ingredients

    1/4 cup salad oil
    1/4 cup wine vinegar
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. sweet basil
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    2 Tbsp. Parmesan Cheese
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 large egg, raw
    1/4 cup oil

    Directions

    Blend ingredients in blender on high speed 30
    seconds or until smooth.  Pour this mixture into the
    top of a double boiler and add 1/4 cup oil.  Stir
    gently over boiling water utnil it begins to thicken
    and egg is completely cooked.  
    Chill overnight before using.
    If the dressing is too thick, add additional vinegar.
