Hot Cranberry Punch

    Ingredients

    1 tea bag
    1 cup boiling water
    1 cup cranberry juice cocktail
    3 cups apple cider
    1 cinnamon stick, cracked
    4 whole cloves
    4 allspice berries
    1 strip orange peel
    4 thin orange slices - for garnish
    4 cinnamon sticks - for garnish

    Directions

    Place the tea bag  in a mug, add the boiling water,
    and steep for 5 minutes.
    In a small saucepan, place the cranberry juice,
    apple cider, cinnamon stick, cloves, allspice, and
    orange peel, and bring to a boil over moderately
    high heat.  Lower the heat, cover and simmer for
    15 minutes.  Remove from heat and add the tea,
    discarding the tea bag.
    Pour punch into 4 mugs and garnish each with an
    orange slice and cinnamon stick.
