Eggnog

    Ingredients

    6 eggs, separated
    3/4 cup sugar
    1 pint cream
    1 pint milk
    1 oz. dark rum
    1 pint whiskey
    nutmeg

    Directions

    Beat egg whites and yolks sperately.  Add 1/2 cup
    sugar to yolks while beating.  Beat whites until stiff,
    adding 1/4 cup sugar gradually while beating.  
    Fold the yolks into the whites.  Add cream and
    milk.  Slowly add rum and whiskey.  Stir
    thoroughly.  Serve very cold in punch cups.  Dust
    with nutmeg.
