| Ingredients - 4 boneless pork chops, 1/2 inch thin cut 3/4 cup dry bread crumbs 1/4 cup flour 1 - 2 eggs 2 tablespoons milk 1/2 stick butter or margarine Directions 1. Place flour in one dish and bread crumbs in another. 2. Crack egg into a third dish, add milk and whisk until scrambled. 3. Trim any extra fat off chops then pound thin with a meat mallot. 4.Dredge each chop in flour first, then dip in egg, finally coat in bread crumbs. Press crumbs into chop with your hands. 5.Move each breaded chop to a plate until all chops are breaded. 6. Melt 1/2 stick butter in skillet over medium high heat. Add 3-4 breaded chops to pan, as many as can fit. 7. Cook in butter for about 3-4 minutes then turn over with tongs and cook the other side. Both sides should be golden brown. 8. Cook in batches, adding more butter as needed, and move finished chops to paper towels to drain. 9. Serve in hamburger buns with chopped pickles, onions, mustard and ketchup. |
