    Colonial Pumpkin Pie

    Ingredients

    1 1/2 cup cooked pumpkin
    1 cup packed brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/8 tsp. allspice
    2 Tbsp. molasses
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 cup evaporated milk
    1 unbaked pie shell
       
    Directions

    Combine pumpkin, brown sugar, salt, spices and
    molasses; mix well.  Add eggs and milk; mix
    thoroughly.  Pour into pie shell.
    Bake at 425 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes or until knife
    inserted in center comes out clean.
