    Buttermilk Pancakes

    Ingredients

    1/2 cup water
    1 1/2 cup buttermilk
    2 cups sifted flour
    2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/4 cup butter, melted

    Directions

    Sift dry ingredients together twice.  Add eggs,
    buttermilk, water and butter.  Stir until well
    blended.  If batter is to thick, add more water or
    buttermilk.
    Drop by spoonfuls onto lightly greased griddle.  
    Turn pancakes when lightly browned.
    Yield 5 - 6 servings.
