Swiss Steak Casserole

    Ingredients

    1 1/2 lb. steak, cut thick
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    2 cup pared quartered potatoes
    1 lg. whole onion
    2 cup pared sliced coarrots

    Directions

    Rub steak with flour and salt; brown in oil.  Place
    steak in roaster or covered pan.  Place potatoes,
    onion and carrots in pan with steak.  Pour in 1 cup
    hot water.  Season vegetables.  Bake in 300 to
    325 degree oven 1 hour or longer.
