    Potato Soup II

    Ingredients

    5 or 6 potatoes
    1 medium onion
    2 stalks celery
    3 carrots
    1 lb. bacon
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 cup Cheddar cheese

    Directions

    Dice potatoes, onion, celery and carrots.  Add 3
    strips raw bacon, cut up; cook until tender.  Put 1/2
    of mixture in blender and then back with chunks in
    pan.  Fry rest of bacon until crisp; crumble into
    soup.  Add 1 cup Cheddar cheese.  May double
    for more than 4 people.
