    Mushroom Soup

    Ingredients

    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. thinly sliced green onions
    10 3/4 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
    1/4 lb. whole mushrooms
    2 Tbsp. dry sherry
    Dash of pepper
    3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
    Sliced mushrooms

    Directions

    In 3 quart saucepan, cook onions in butter until
    tender, stirring often.  Stir in soup, whole
    mushrooms, sherry and pepper.  Blend soup
    mixture in covered blender at medium speed until
    smooth.  Return mixture to saucepan.  Gradually
    stir the cream into mixture over heat, stirring
    constantly.
    Garnish with sliced mushrooms.
