    Corn & Shrimp Soup

    Ingredients

    1 Tbsp. bacon fat
    1 Tbsp. flour
    2 onions, chopped fine
    1 1/2 quarts water
    2 quarts peeled, fresh shrimp
    6 ears fresh corn
    2 tomatoes
    salt
    black and red pepper

    Directions

    Brown flour and onions in bacon fat.  Add shrimp
    and corn cut from the cob, and tomatoes.  Add
    water and cook on low heat for 1 1/2 hours.  
    Season to taste.
