Black Bean Soup Ingredients 1/2 lb. bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces 1 cup celery, sliced 1 cup onion, chopped 2 tsp. garlic, minced 2-15 oz.cans black beans, drained 16 oz. jar Chi-Chi's Picante Sauce 10 1/2 oz. can chicken broth 1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes 1/2 tsp. pepper 2 Tbsp. fresh cilantro, chopped Directions
and garlic. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until bacon is crisp and vegetables are tender. Drain. Add remaining ingredients except cilantro. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low. Simmer, stirring occasionally, 25-30 minutes. Stir in cilantro. Serves 6. |
