    Hot Macadamia Dip

    Ingredients

    8 oz. cream cheese, softened
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 (2 1/2 oz.) jar dried chipped beef, shredded
    1/3 cup finely chopped onion
    1/3 cup finely chopped green pepper
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
    1/4 tsp. ground ginger
    3/4 cup sour cream
    1/2 cup coarsely chopped Macadamia nuts

    Directions

    Preheat oven to 350.  combine cream cheese and
    milk, blending until completely smooth.  Stir in
    chipped beef, onion, green pepper, garlic, pepper
    and ginger.  Fold in sour cream.  Pour mixture into
    glass pie plate or shallow baking dish.

    In a small skillet saute nuts in butter until thoroughly
    glazed.  Sprinkle nuts over beef mixture.  Bake 20
    to 25 minutes, or until heated through.  
    Serve with crackers.
    Yields: 12 to 15 servings.
