    Hot Cheese Dip

    Ingredients

    1/4 cup finely chopped green onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 tsp. dried tarragon, crushed
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    3/4 cup beer
    2 cups shredded American cheese
    3 oz. cream cheese, cut up
    French bread cubes or tortilla chips

    Directions

    In saucepan cook onion, garlic & tarragon in
    butter.  Stir in cornstarch.  Add beer.  Cook and
    stir until thick and bubbly.  Gradually add cheeses,
    Stir until melted.  
    Serve with bread cubes or tortilla chips.
