Peanutbutter Fudge

    Ingredients

    1 lb. light brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 cup milk
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 8-oz. jar smooth peanut butter

    Directions

    Combine brown sugar, butter, sugar and milk.  
    Cook to soft-ball stage or 234 to 240 degrees on
    candy thermometer.  Stir in cornstarch dissolved
    in small amount of cold water.
    Remove from heat.
    Beat well.
    Add vanilla and peanut butter; beat until smooth.
