Molded Waldorf Salad

    Ingredients

    1 env. unflavored gelatin
    1/3 cup sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 cup vinegar or lemon juice
    2 cups diced tart apples
    1/2 cup diced celery
    1/4 cup chopped pecans

    Directions

    Combine gelatin, sugar and salt in small
    saucepan.  Add 1/2 cup water.  Stir over low heat
    until gelatin is dissolved.  Remove from heat; stir
    in 1 cup water and vinegar.  Chill until partially
    congealed.  Fold in apples, celery and pecans;
    chill until firm.
    Yield:  6 servings.
