Lemon Cheese Filling
1 cup sugar 2 Tbsp. flour Grated rind of 2 lemons 1/4 cup lemon juice 1 egg 1 Tbsp. butter Directions Mix sugar and flour. Add remaining ingredients in order given. Cook in double boiler over moderate heat until mixture thickens. Enough filling for one 2-layer cake. |
