    Four Minute Icing

    Ingredients

    1 cup sugar
    1/2 tsp. cream of tarter
    3 Tbsp. water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 egg whites
    1 tsp. vanilla

    Directions

    Combine ingredients except vanilla and put into
    top of double-boiler over boiling water.  Beat
    constantly with beater for four minutes.  Take off
    heat and continue beating for one minute.  Add
    flavoring.  Stir in and spread on cake.
