Coconut Filling
2 cups sugar 2/3 cup water or coconut juice 1 pkg. coconut or 2 cups freshly grated coconut 2 egg whites, stiffly beaten 1 tsp. vanilla Directions Combine sugar and water in saucepan. Cook until syrupy. Add coconut. Cook for 1 minutes. Remove from heat. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites and vanilla. |
