Caramel Frosting
1/2 cup butter 1 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup milk 2 cups powdered sugar Pecans Directions Melt butter in saucepan. Add brown sugar. Boil over low heat 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add milk. Keep stirring until mixture boils. Remove from heat. Cool. Add enough sifted sugar to make spreading consistency, beating well after each addition. Add pecans. Pecans may be pressed on side of cake. |
