    Scotcharoos Cookies

    Ingredients

    1 stick butter
    1 cup light Karo syrup
    1 cup sugar
    1 cup peanut butter
    6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
    6 oz. butterscotch chips
    6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips

    Directions

    Mix first 3 ingredients together and place in
    microwave till bubbling (3 to 4 minutes).  Remove
    and add peanut butter and stir till dissolved, then
    mix in Rice Krispies and pat all in buttered 9 x 13
    inch pan.  Place butterscotch and chocolate chips
    in bowl i microwave until melted, then spread over
    Rice Krispies mixture in pan.  Place in refrigerator
    unitl set, then cut.
