    Frosted Chocolate Drop Cookies

    Ingredients

    1 cup butter, softened
    1 cup brown sugar
    1 egg
    2 squares chocolate
    1 3/4 cup flour
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 cup milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 cup nuts, chopped

    Directions

    Beat together butter, sugar and egg in a large
    bowl with a mixer until well creamed.  Add melted
    chocolate and beat 1/2 minute to blend.  Add
    sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk,  beating
    only long enough to form soft ball.  Add nuts and
    beat a few seconds.  Drop by spoon on
    ungreased baking sheet.  
    Bake at 400 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Frost with powdered sugar frosting.
    Makes 50 cookies.
