    Heath Bar Coffee Cake

    Ingredients

    2 cups brown sugar
    2 cups flour
    1 stick butter
    1 egg
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 cup buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    6 Heath bars, finely chopped

    Directions

    Mix together brown sugar, flour, and butter.  
    Reserve 1 cup for topping.  Add egg, baking
    soda, buttermilk, and vanilla to rest of butter
    mixture.  Mix well.  Put into 9 x 13-inch greased
    pan.  Sprinkle with reserved crumbs and then
    crushed Heath Bars.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
    (Heath bars crush more easily if taken from the
    freezer)
