Coffee Cake Ingredients 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup shortening 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 2 cup flour 1 tsp. soda 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 cup sour cream Topping: 1/2 cup white sugar 1/4 cup brown sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 cup black walnuts Directions Cream shortening and sugar, add eggs and vanilla. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with sour cream. Spread 1/2 batter in greased 9 x 9- inch pan. Sprinkle 1/2 topping, then add batter and remaining topping. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. |
