    Cherry Coffee Cake

    Ingredients

    2 1/2 cup powdered sugar
    2 1/2 cup flour, sifted
    1 cup butter, softened
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs
    1 can or 3 1/2 cup sour cherries, drained

    Directions

    Combine in mixing bowl the first five ingredients.  
    Beat at low speed in mixer then at high speed until
    light and fluffy.  Place half the mixture in greased 7
    x 11-inch pan.  Spread drained cherries over top.  
    Spoon on remaining batter.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
    Dust with powdered sugar when cool.
