    Blueberry Buckle

    Ingredients

    1/2 cup sugar
    1/2 cup shortening
    1 egg
    2 cups flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 cup milk
    2 cups fresh blueberries
    Topping:
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/2 cup flour
    1/2 tsp cinnamon
    1/4 butter

    Directions

    Cream sugar and shortening; add egg and mix
    well.  In separate bowl, mix together dry
    ingredients, then add to egg mixture, alternatly
    with milk.
    Pour into greased 11 1/2 x 7 inch pan.
    Top with blueberries.  Sprinkle topping over
    blueberries.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
    Serve warm.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
