    Berry Coffee Cake

    Ingredients

    3 oz. pkg. cream cheese
    1/4 cup butter
    2 cups Bisquick
    1/4 cup milk
    1/2 cup raspberry , strawberry or peach preserves
    Glaze:
    1/2 cup powdered sugar
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1 to 2 tsp. milk

    Directions
    Cut cream cheese and margarine into biscuit mix
    till crumbly.  Add milk; stir till mixed.  
    On lightly floured surface, knead dough 10 to 12
    strokes.  
    On waxed paper, roll or pat dough into a 12 x 8
    inch rectangle.  Invert onto a greased baking
    sheet; remove paper.  Spread preserves down
    center of dough.  Make 2 1/2 cuts from long sides
    toward the center a 1-inch intervals.  Fold strips
    alternately over filling.
    Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until
    golden brown.
    Drizzle with Powdered Sugar glaze.
    Serve warm.
    Serves 12.
