Oatmeal Muffins

    Ingredients

    1 cup quick oats
    1 cup sour milk
    1 egg
    3/4 cup brown sugar
    1 cup flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/3 cup shortening, melted

    Directions

    In a large bowl mix together the oats and sour
    milk.  Beat in the egg.  Stir in the remaining
    ingredients.  Pour into greased muffin tins, filling
    each cup 2/3 full.
    Bake at 350 for 20 minutes, or until done.
