    Golden Cream Biscuits

    Ingredients

    2 cups flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 cup golden raisins
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 cup whipping cream
    butter, melted

    Directions

    In mixing bowl combine flour, raisins, baking
    powder, sugar and salt.  Stir in cream with a fork,
    mixing just until moistened.
    Knead dough 8-10 times on floured surface.  Roll
    out 1/2 inch thickness; cut into rounds with
    1 1/2-inch biscuit cutter.
    Dip biscuits in melted butter to coat; place on
    baking sheet.
    Bake at 425 degrees for about 10 minutes, until
    golden brown.
    Makes 24 biscuits.
