    Hot Ryes

    Ingredients

    1 lb. pork sausage
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 lb. Velveeta cheese, cut into cubes
    3 bunches green onions, diced (including greens)
    2 (4 oz.) cans mushrooms, drained and diced
    2 loafs party rye bread (small squares)

    Directions

    Brown sausage and beef (not crunchy) in heavy
    skillet.  Drain excess grease.  Add cheese cubes
    and stir till melted.  Stir in onion and mushrooms.  
    Remove from heat.  Spoon on party rye slices.  
    Brown under broiler.
