    Half & Half Fondue  

    Ingredients

    1 clove garlic
    1 cup dry white wine
    1 teaspoon lemon juice
    2 cups gruyere cheese, grated
    2 cups taffel cheese, grated
    2 tablespoons cornflour
    1/4 cup brandy
    French bread for serving

    Directions

    Rub the inside of fondue pot with cut clove of
    garlic.  Put wine and lemon juice in pot over low
    heat until warmed.  Add cheeses and stir until
    melted.  Blend cornflour and brandy together and
    add to fondue pot, stir until fondue is bubbling and  
    blended.
    Serve with French bread cut into 1-inch cubes.
