     Fondue Cherie

    Ingredients

    1 clove garlic
    2 cups riesling
    3 cups grated Swiss cheese
    4 tablespoons flour
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    3 tablespoons brandy
    pinch of pepper
    French bread for serving

    Directions

    Rub the inside of fondue pot with cut clove of
    garlic.  Heat wine carefully, do not boil.  Add
    cheese to wine, stir until melted and bubbly.  Add
    seasoning and stir in brandy.
    Serve with French bread cut into 1-inch cubes.
