    Devilled Fondue

    Ingredients

    8 oz. cheddar cheese, diced
    1/2 oz. butter
    1 tablespoon flour
    1/3 cup milk
    1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
    3/4 teaspoon horseradish relish
    1/2 teaspoon paprika pepper
    1 egg, separated
    2 tablespoons sherry
    French bread for serving

    Directions

    Melt butter and cheese in fondue pot over a very
    low heat.  Stir in flour and then warmed milk and
    seasoning, stir until thickened.  Add beaten egg
    yolk, cook for a few minutes.  Remove from heat.  
    Fold in stiffly beaten egg white and sherry.
    Serve with French bread cut into 1-inch cubes.
