Spinich Dip II

    Ingredients

    8 oz. cream cheese, cubed
    10 oz. pkg frozen chopped spinach, thawed
    and squeezed dry
    3 Tbsp. milk
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

    Directions

    Cook spinach according to package directions,
    drain well.  In saucepan over low heat, cook and
    stir cheese, milk, butter and nutmeg until cheese is
    melted.  Add spinach, half the bacon, and the
    lemon juice.  Turn into serving dish and chill.  Top
    with remaining bacon just before serving.  
    Serve with crackers or vegetable dippers.
