Orange Bishop Cake
2 sticks butter 2 1/2 cups sugar 5 eggs 3/4 cup plus 1 Tbsp. orange juice 2 cups flour 1 tsp. vanilla Directions Cream butter and sugar. Stir in eggs, one at a time. Add 1 tablespoon orange juice. Sift flour 3 times. Stir in with mixer at low speed. Add vanilla. Pour into greased 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Combine remaining sugar and orange juice. Pour orange mixture over cake while still in pan. |
