    Carrot Cake

    Ingredients

    2 cups flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    2 cups sugar
    1 1/2 cup oil
    2 cups grated carrots
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 eggs
    1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
    Frosting:
    1/2 cup butter
    8 oz. cream cheese, softened
    2 cups powdered sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla

    Directions

    Sift together first 5 ingredients.  Mix remaining
    ingredients and combine the two mixtures.  Mix
    well.  Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan.
    Bake at 350 for 50 minutes.
    Beat frosting ingreadients until creamy.
