Deluxe Fudgy Brownies Ingredients 4 sq. unsweetened chocolate 1/2 cup butter 1/2 tsp. salt 4 eggs 2 cups sugar 1 cup sifted flour 1 tsp. vanilla 1 cup coarsely chopped nuts Directions Melt chocolate and butter in top of double boiler over hot water; cool slightly. Add salt. Beat eggs until foamy; add sugar gradually, beating thoroughly after each addition. Add chocolate mixture; blend. Stir in flour. Add vanilla and nuts. Spread in greased 9 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes. Cool in pan. Cut into squares. |
