Canadian Brownies

    Ingredients

    3/4 cup flour
    1 Tbsp. powdered sugar
    1/2 cup butter
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/4 cup. brown sugar
    1 cup shredded coconut
    1 cup chopped nuts

    Directions

    Mix 1/2 cup flour, powdered sugar and butter well;
    spread in greased 9-inch square baking pan.  
    Bake at 425 unitl brown.  Mix remaining 1/4 cup
    flour with remaining ingredients.  Pour over
    mixture in pan.  
    Bake at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes.  
    Cut into squares.
